A dental implant is the most natural looking way to replace missing teeth, and they provide the same function as your natural tooth.

A dental implant is an artificial tooth root, it replaces missing teeth. The body part “the implant” looks like a screw and it is usually made of titanium alloy. Implants are surgically placed in the bone.

The advantage of implants is that they do not rely on adjacent teeth for support. This means no grinding of your natural adjacent teeth for bridges. They provide a fixed solution to removable prosthetics

A dental implant usually consist of three parts:

1. Implant
2. Implant Abutment or Post
3. Crown
